David Bowie Aladdin Sane with eyes open print.
This image was unseen until it was rediscovered by the Duffy Archive and then used as the main promotional image for the V & A’s hugely successful exhibition: David Bowie ‘Is’.
In 1979 Duffy walked away from the world of photography and took the extreme step of burning his own work in the yard of his studio.
Much of his work was destroyed.
The prints available on this site are taken from the negatives that were saved.
In conjunction with the Duffy Archive we present this official Giclee estate stamped print, produced by the Duffy Archive.
This print is available in two sizes ready mounted in a black acid free mount.
